Long shot but I'd just post here the problem I've been having intermittently and lately all the time with an m220 mouse. It would cut out at times, seemed to be when I had something plugged into the usb next to the receiver but now it is still doing it with nothing in the usb next to it. Cuts out, goes dead, comes back here and there, sometimes nothing. Tried other usb slots same, take out battery, new battery, same, different laptop same but seems to work better there but I use that one only here and there for video out. I use my other wireless mouse in the same usb no problems. It's about 2 years old and I'm not a power user, don't game with kbm at all, only gamepad.

Some more details, plugged in the other wmouse and it worked but started doing the same thing, new battery didn't make a difference, the m220 worked for a bit on my other laptop. The put the m220 back into original laptop and it worked for a day then started doing the same thing, and now also the other wmouse has the same issues, all in both laptops. Thankfully I have a wired mouse and turned the trackpads back on.

My other wmouse that I've been switching out for testing no longer works, this must be some windows driver issue it's very very unlikely that 2 wmouses are going to have these problems at the same time. 2 separate laptops, 2 different mice, 2 different versions of 10, win10home and win10LTSC. Uninstalling drivers doesn't help so far.
