I just want to be 100% sure...I think I have found the answer from searching but with possible product changes it would be nice to have a definitive answer.
The Logitech mx1000 (mouse only) is not bluetooth.
The Logitech mx1000 bought with the keyboard combo is bluetooth.
And if the latter is true, I can use the mouse without the keyboard if I wish....
Other than that, does anyone have any real info on the Thermaltake x-wing mouse...and if it is even available?
And how would the Kensington Pilotmouse compare with those two?
Thanks =)

For whatever reason, they don't seem to sell the Bluetooth mouse on its own. If you buy the desktop, no, you don't need to use the keyboard, although the keyboard is pretty good, I've used it.

Just FYI... I saw the combo on Amazon.com last week for $89 after rebates.

What is the name of the combo? Is it the MX5000? That seems to be going for $119 on Amazon right now. Or is it under a different name?

It is the MX5000 indeed. You missed the Amazon special, purus, but they may have another one. Check the other online powerhouses like Buy.com, and maybe look through a search on PriceGrabber.com, too.

Thanks for the quick reply Slappy. I'll have a look around.
