Well at least that old horrible turquoise-whatever it was colour is gone. And the extra thumb button is nice

As for the gripe... *commands himself to love new DeathAdder*

Edit: ignore above about colour. Thinking of G7 instead. As punishment I will flagellate myself

I'm glad they finally got the "forward" thumb button on that.

Believe it or not, that was the only reason I didn't buy the G5 over my current Razer Copperhead.

The current color scheme of the G5 was keeping me from getting one. I actually goingto go for a G3 or maybe even an RX1000. I'll hold off and get one of the new G5s now. My entire system is black/silver/blue, so the silver/copper would have looked out of place.

I'm not really diggin the color scheme, but if they'd do that to the G7 I'd buy for the extra thumb button.

    RX1000?

And although I think the new color scheme is pretty ugly (I think the current one's actually ugly too), but I think color's a stupid reason to not buy a mouse. When you use a mouse you're hand is covering it so you can't see...And looks should take a way back seat to its performance...

I hate that color scheme. Anyway, got a G5 myself, and it's a great mouse.

Wow, I like the addition of the button, but the color scheme...well I guess some may like it.
