hi, i just got my logitech v500 laptop mouse off of ebay and it doesnt work. it turns on...my laptop knows the receiver is connected...the mouse works because it turns on properly but it just wont move the cursor on my laptop...could it be the receiver?? maybe it got mixed up, or maybe i need some sort of 2.4 ghz thing? i dunno...

It takes a bit to connect, you'll need to press the connect button on the USB receiver then the connect on the bottom of the mouse. If that doesn't work try a few more times.
Did you get it refurbished? -
this is the v500 mouse...it uses a 2.4 ghz receiver which does not have a connect button. the mouse only has a reset button only. yes, it was refurbished but i have bought from this seller many times and everything worked out good until this thing came along...what do you mean it takes a 'bit'?
-
Well, usually I plug receiver in, press the connect button on that, then the connect button on the mouse, won't work the 1st time, but does the 2nd or 3rd.
Hmmmm......is it JustDeals? If so I buy stuff from there too
I think reset is the button on smaller mices, on larger ones like the mx's its Connect. -
hahh yeah it was JustDeals!!! but the thing is there is no button on the receiver. im stumped...and mad because i want this mouse to work. althought i only paid 20$ canadian for it

There should be, it could be pin hole sized.

Hmmmm, I see your point..
I can't help you much then...
Guess you need to email them -

After 2 month using this mouse, Windows stopped recognizing giving some kind of error message. I threw the mouse out. Nice mouse though.

I have one, there is no reset button on the reciever. Sounds like it is messed up, prob dropped. Get on that seller for a refund! Then go buy a new one!
