Quick question:
I contacted Logitech Support about my mouse's wiring starting to come apart (there were a few places where the USB cable came out of the woven braid and looped tightly), and a week after contacting them, the UPS truck came by to drop off the replacement G9x that Logitech sent me.
Now, my question is: am I suppose to return my old G9x, or do I get to keep it or something? The support agent wasn't clear on this.

From the emails I received from Logitech, I think I'm allowed to keep it. From the last email sent before shipping:

A friend of mine had problems with his Logitech mouse in Bulgaria - they gave him another one without taking the old one.

I've had Logitech replace mice without having to send back the old one. I'd say as long as you received the replacement, and there's no pre-paid label inside the box, you're good to keep the broken one.

Yup, now I have a working mouse and half working mouse (only moves on fabric/cloth/mouse pad not anything else)

Yeah, no worries. I just had my 2 year old G700 replaced. Sent me a new one that arrived in 3 days and they didn't ask for the old one. This is why I will always buy logitech. Their customer service is amazing.

I had many problems with logitech devices. sometimes they would ask me to ship item to them and ofc I wouldn't do it because I would have to pay for that. I mean, I get a defective product and I still have to pay?!
I complained all the times and they shipped me back a new one with a letter asking me to ship back the old item. I never did that obviously. -
Had a new Anywhere MX mailed to me under warranty a couple months back. Got to keep the old one. So you're good.
