i've got a VX revolution mouse and use it with my machine. can anyone tell me if i can use any of logitech's wireless keyboards with the same USB receiver that came with the VX revolution ?

if it's not possible, which logitech wireless keyboard comes with a USB receiver similar to the VX revolution that I can plug in and use in the same way as the VX ?

you can't share USB dongles that uses Radio Frequency to communicate. If possible return your VX Revolution and get the Cordless Desktop® MX™ 5500 Revolution. It is a bluetooth connection with the VX Revolution Mouse and a nice keyboard.

in that case, if i bought a wave wireless, could i use 2 USB dongles (the one existing for the VX, and the other that comes with the Wave keyboard) simultaneously ?

with regard to this MX5500 revolution setup, would i be able to use the keyboard and mouse without the dongle since i have built-in bluetooth ?

ya sorry i was thinking the MX revolution the whole time. Didn't think much, cause i was typing this in class.

Ya you can use the Wave keyboard. The logitech programs allow you to switch channels if any interference happens with other logitech devices.

From my knowledge yes you should be able to connect through a built-in bluetooth device (but i can't 100% say so because i don't own one).

On a side note I love Logitech and own a lot of their devices. G15, G9, VX Nano, Premium notebook headset, MX3200 and MX3000 (but those two mouses are useless).

I'm going to confirm that for the Wave Keyboard. If you install the software that comes with it, you can set up different profiles for each mice that you have, and select it through the program.
    Here are some screenies:

And here's my setup with the keyboard:

    An awesome investment!!
