So I'm really close to purchasing the z2300 thx 2.1 speakers, but I will be living in shared accomodations with roommates, and the speakers will just be in my room. I'll be using it for movies, tv, games, music. Is this thing too powerful for my setup? Does it handle well at low volume?

Only 1 of my 5 roommates complained about my Z5500's, apparently they re-arranged her room . Everyone else thought they were awesome. I think you will be fine with Z2300's unless its a really really quiet flat, even then theres a volume control for a reason :p I assume you can also adjust the subwoofers output as well as i can do this with my Z5500's to lower vibrations.

Just got mine today. You really don't need to worry about volume. If it's too loud, just turn it down. They give a lot of headroom. :)
