I'm looking for a 17" widescreen Notebook Sleeve for my Inspiron 1720. Does anyone know of any good ones off hand? Or a brand I should look for? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the link. Cheap too. Is there any extra padding in there? Or is it mainly just the cloth exterior.

Do you have the 6 or 9 cell battery? I bought a Body Glove neoprene sleeve, but my 1721 didn't fit because I have the 9 cell battery. It protrudes too far out at the hinge...

It's mainly the cloth exterior. For my laptop it came with a piece of cloth(similar to a pillow cover) to put the laptop into and then I put it into the sleeve. Afterwards I put it into my Alienware backpack which I'd say has enough protection.

I's say check out Belkin's offerings. You can probably get them on amazon cheaper than the $34.99 retail price.

I bought the Belkin Messenger Bag for the 17" 1720 and I love it. The Plush-lined sleeve area where the laptop goes is super soft and provides plenty of cushion. The colors are a bit trendy, but the zippers are really solid and don't hurt your hands when you try to zip up the case/sleeve.
