Hi guys, I'm looking to pick up an external 22" monitor to pair with G1s for when I'm in the dorm. To my surprise, I found an Asus brand ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236011) but is only rated a 3 on newegg. I originally wanted to get a Samsung ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001096) but recently there's been tons of reports that Samsung is making a few versions, and some are very, very low quality. Let me know what you think, or if you have some suggestions to make my decision easier, it's much appreciated.

2ms GTG almost certainly indicates a 6bit panel...which isn't as good as the 8bit panels...

If you're willing to for a 20" and have a little more $$$, check out the Dell 2007WFP. One of the best 20" screens out there.

For 22in i would get a Samsung 226BW. If you are going 20in try to find a Viewsonic VX2025WM unless you can find a early revision Dell 2007FPW with a S-IPS screen.
