Looking for Clam Shell style notebook bag

I have been looking for the right notebook bag for a few years now. I ended up with a Targus Port bag and while it has lots of room in it and has enough protection to be dropped off the empire state building and still do no harm to my laptop... its a bit bulky and excessive for day to day use.

Then I watched Live free or die hard last week and the bag that Matthew Farrell (character in the movie) uses looks like it would be perfect! However I can't find any such bag.

That wiki bag is the closest I can find but it doesnt have a shoulder strap and doesnt look like it could hold very much other then the laptop.

I am looking for a bag that can open up like that and be able to use the laptop without taking it out. That way I can jsut put the bag up on my lap or on a table and when I need to go I can just quickly close it up and go without having to put it back into a bag.

Any one have any idea what im talking about and/or where I can find something like this?
