Mostly looking for a pair of over-ear headphones that can be used just as headphones wirelessly (for work, gym, tranport, etc). But want a pair that also have a microphone for gaming (doesnt matter if they need to be wired for the microphone to work, though I wouldn't complain if it was all wireless). I want good sound quality, though not perfect, my hearing isnt that good to appreciate better ones probably.

Budget is around $100, but not set in stone(can go over for somethign truly worth it). Looking for comfort, resiliency and functionality mostly

EDIT: Forgot to mention they would have to be bluetooth enabled, though I guess that can be infered from wanting to use them at the gym

There's actually a pretty limited number of PC wireless gaming headsets that can also be used as a bluetooth headset. I'd recommend that you actually start by looking for PC gaming headsets, that also have Bluetooth capabilities.

The one that comes to mind is the Logitech G933. It's new, it's $200, but it meets your needs perfectly.

Well, my computer does have bluetooth as well, so would it be easier/better to just get a purely bluetooth headset? If so, which? Or is there some reason why its not advisable to use bluetooth on the PC for a headset?

I will look into the G933 anyways, it does look like it can work for me well.

Using a Bluetooth headset for computer audio can be hit-or-miss, depending on the particular make/model of Bluetooth headset you have. Sometimes it works fine. Sometimes it's a pain-in-the-rear to adjust volume. Sometimes you have lots of sync / connection issues. Sometimes the manufacturer doesn't really design or test their headset for PC use (only smartphone use), so you wont' get much support from those manufacturers. You'll always get sub-par audio. And the microphone quality will usually be garbage. Bluetooth for PC audio is really a pretty inferior way to do it.

To be honest, the only reason that this is a difficult question to answer is because you're looking for a single headset that is bluetooth-capable for both PC and at the gym. Bluetooth headsets are just generally kind of ****ty. They're convenient, but wireless audio is a giant pain-in-the-rear. Bluetooth is not "just like wired, but better, because it's wireless." There are a LOT of trade-offs for wireless audio. And the only benefit of wireless audio is the convenience of no wires.

If you were to ask me where to start from scratch, I'd recommend that you actually get a pair of wired headphones for both computer & gym use. If you want them to be portable, go with earbuds.

Honestly, I think the best deal in wired earbuds + mic these days is a Xiaomi Piston. They just came out with their Xiaomi Piston 3 ( link), which fixes a lot of things people didn't like about the Piston 2.

Don't be turned off by the low price, and automatically think that low price = garbage. Xiaomi Piston's are pretty much the bomb. Xiaomi usually sells in China. And in China, nobody spends $100 for a pair of headphones, or $100 for a fitness tracker. They just don't do it. So a company like Xiaomi creates the Piston headphones, which compete with headphones that cost $100 in the US. But they sell it for $25, because that is what the market will bear in China. Some headphone enthusiasts have caught on to this, and begun importing them into the US as a grey-market item. And if you know to look for them, then you get $25 headphones that sound like $100 headphones.
