    Looking for a 17" messenger bag with embedded hard shell. Is it out there?

    I didn't expect this to be so hard to find, but it has been!

    What I'm looking for is a messenger bag where the laptop compartment has a hard inner shell to protect it from impacts and to keep it from bumping around with the other things in the bag (PSU, books, etc.).

    I'm also open to other recommendations for cases and bags of all different styles. My main priority is hard shell casing for at least the laptop. Other things that are important to me: seperate storage for PSU, mouse, etc. to keep things from jostling around with the laptop.

    Nope that I know of. You might be better off getting a bag with lots of compartments and then using a good sleeve such as a ''ZeroShock'' for good protections.
