    I'm going to be spending quite some time on an airplane ... and in airports. That means I am going to be spending a lot of time watching movies, playing simple games, tethering (at the airports) on my netbook.

    I currently get about 5.5 hours out of it (not terrible for a 3 year old netbook). However, I'd like to push the total number above 10.

    Are there any reputable extended battery vendors out there?

    I have an Acer AOD 150 ...

    I figure between a 9 cell battery and SSD I should be okay.

    Back when I had a Dell Studio 15, I bought a knockoff Chinese 9-cell battery on eBay for not even half the regular price, and it worked great.

    i just bought a 9 cell from amazon around $30.00 for my xps1530. works just fine.
