I'm looking for a new keyboard and after 30 mins of searching, I don't even know if such thing exists.

    - backlight
    - wireless with nano receiver
    - chicklet / island keys
    - compact layout (arrow keys tucked under enter key, num pad immediately to the right, home/end keys on top of numpad)

Is "compact layout" really that important? Do you carry it around very often and the traditional layout just happened to be a little bit too long for your handbag?

If you don't insist that all the keys must come within one package, one 81key plus a numpad should be easier to find.

Exactly. Something like this along with a small numberpad would probably make more sense.

I actually looked at the K810. The problem is my laptop doesn't have bluetooth.

And yea, I travel enough with a laptop bag that can't hold a traditional keyboard's length.

The 81+numpad is a valid option, I just had trouble finding a K810 that's 2.4Ghz instead of bluetooth.
