Hi, I'm looking for a messsenger bag that is under $100, preferably with brown leather, and has a retro look. I really like this one for instance:

Amazon.com: Otium 21108GRY High Density Canvas Leaisure Busineess Bag Genuine Leather Deco, Grey: Shoes

Unfortunately, my laptop is 15.6", and is large even for a 15.6" (it's 15.1" in width). Here's another one I really like, but it's just so expensive:

Amazon.com: Visconti FOSTER 16073 X-Large Leather Laptop Computer Case Messenger Bag for 15" laptop with Computer Sleeve: Computers & Accessories

    Any help appreciated.

Truth is though, that a cheap leather bag will be a waste of money - the dye will probably run in the rain / through contact, the leather will be inferior quality, etc. $200 is pretty much the going rate for anything remotely half decent, and that's if it's a bargain.

I have to agree, if you're going to spend less than 200$, don't bother with leather, get something synthetic or get canvas, at least that'll last longer. In my experience, you get what you pay for with that material especially although I admit, Danier leather clothes are really cheap (like a jacket is 100-150$ on sale) and 3 years later, they're still good.
