Well I just recently got a netbook and I am on search for a small/Low Profile mouse for it.
I will prefer a wireless mouse but if I have to get a wired one I will.

It does not have built in Bluetooth but I can live with a little usb drive for a wireless mouse.
I want to store it in one of my pockets in my Netbook sleeve.
So it have to be fairly small.
Well hope I can get some ideas here.
    Thanks!

Far from it :D That Arc mouse is quite high in real life and when I tried it, it didn't feel good.

I ended with Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000: MICROSOFT BLUETOOTH NOTEBOOK MOUSE 5000 REVIEW | TWEAKNEWS - PAGE 3 It's rather comfortable to use, works in RTS games too.

This is a bit more anorectic version of regular laptop mouse:

It has commonly been sold as HP branded, there's also Expresscard 54 version. Only one problem, how to charge that in a modern laptop that doesn't have any expansion slot? :D I doubt it would be nice for continous use either. But _that's_ slim.

^^I have the Mogo X54 Media Mouse. It is ok for intermittent usage, but gets "tiring" in your hand over long usage.

@OP. I have several small mice & a wired one I use on my Netbook. I use the Logitech M305, and it will fit well in a Netbook sleeve w/side pocket.

I also use and inexpensive Wired Optical Mouse like this. It was an off brand manuf. & I paid no more than $8 for it. It works quite well.

You could also go with the Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse if you don't mind a longer dongle. Or, even the Logitech V220 (which you can usually find for around $9.99), this one also has a longer dongle.

    :)

I'll second the Explorer mini mouse above. I have one, and parents liked it so much I have ordered a couple more (one to leave in the "work" bag permanently and one for gift for parents). It lasts a LONG time on one battery (weeks) and runs great and is very, very portable.

I haven't found any issues so far, it is small enough to be mobile yet large enough not to be too cramped.
