    Anybody know of one?

    Warning Background Story..!

I do not know why the idea didn't strike me sooner. I for awhile was playing my old super nintendo games on my C90 via emulation and have never been much for using the keyboard. So I invested in a xbox360 controller and it works great.

Problem is, I found it to be a pain to constantly roll up and unroll the cord and the more I do it the worse its getting, and the controller itself is pretty big in a backpack. So now I leave it at home.

Just today I decided to go look into how far the wiimote project has gone where they were using the wii controller on a pc and it has advanced VERY far, you can use the tilt functions, the nunchuck, the IR sensor for a mouse pointer, and map the buttons. So I am going to play with it for a bit, but I know ultimatly I do not want to use a wiimote as my permanent gamepad because the lack of buttons.

I realized it was bluetooth tho, and that there should be other devices like this that are actually made for the PC.

    End Story

The only one I have found so far is the BGP100

But its more for a mobile device than a computer, and pretty expensive too.

There just has to be more options, and with how popular bluetooth is now, I am surprised to see somebody has not been jumping all over this for a new age of wireless controllers.

Update. I did not find any real bluetooth controllers but man the wiimote works like a charm!

glovepie lets you do just about anything with it. I have played with some scripts made by other people and they have integrated everything. Tilt works, accelerometer, speaker, leds, rumble, analog, and they even have the sensor bar working! (I cant test this as I would have to mod a sensor bar for my laptop or build one)

I was playing secret of mana on my snes emulator and its setup on a premade scrpt to let you shake the controler to slash and it vibrates, or I can tilt the controller backwards and I will dash.

I am going to try to write a script for one of those flying shooter games where you are a jet or something and the screen scrolls from top to bottom and you can move around the screen. I'll map so that you tilt the controller left/right to move left right, and roll it forward/back to move up/down. It will give a old game new life and make it feel very arcade like.

I have also use a script for winamp, I can use my wiimote to change tracks, change volume, stop, play, ect.

The lack of buttons is not as much of an issue as i thought as there really are a good amount of buttons there, just they are in awkward positions like the +/- buttons. However since you can use the controllers tilt/shake feature that helps alot, also something I did not know until today is that you can have combo buttons.

Like say hold the Z button on the back and then press another button and it can have a totally new function mapped to it. So you can have actually alot of buttons, more than any current console controller if you do this.

In addition to that I found out that there is a wireless nunchuck coming out soon, so that means no cord problems for me and then I can add the nunchuck into the mix for a analog stick and more buttons and also its shake controls too. Man I am pretty excited about this and it has so much room to grow.

Now I just need to figure out what game I really want to play and start learning some scripting.
