I was just curious if anyone had any experience with this mouse. Here are some things I like about it when looking at its specs:
    -Bluetooth
    -Laser
-Charges via USB, and is usable while charging
    -5 buttons

Ideally I'd like something a little smaller, but I'm having a hard time finding other mice that match its feature set, let alone that are much smaller.

I highly recommend the Razer Orochi.
    • Bluetooth AND wired USB
    • 4,000 DPI laser
    • Uses AA batteries, but you can plug in the cable and use wired mode if the batteries run out
    • 7 buttons
And it's plenty compact. It includes a little carrying pouch that fits the mouse and the detachable USB cable. For its size, though, it is one of the most comfortable mice I've ever used.

I've looked at the Orochi, but I haven't been able to find a good source on its battery life. It would be the perfect mouse it it charged while plugged in via USB.

I bought my Orochi towards the beginning of January, and dropped two plain old ordinary Duracell AA batteries in it the day I got it. I primarily use it wired, but there's an hour or two a day when I use it in Bluetooth mode, and it's shown no signs of stopping yet. It's got a switch on the underside that lets you power off the mouse when you're not using it.

My understanding is that the Magic Mouse doesn't deliver its full functionality in Windows, but either way I prefer buttons to touch sensitive surfaces.

Charging via USB, whilst useful would still require you to carry the USB cable with you, at which point, you almost may as well get a wired mouse.
With the Orochi the way it is, if you run out of juice and you don't have the cable with you, you only need to find yourself a pair of AA batteries ( which isn't the most challenging of tasks) and you're sorted.

Personally, I haven't had my Orochi long enough to work out what battery life to expect but I use it exclusively via bluetooth and after a few weeks, I've had no problems at all.

I would be carrying the USB cord for the Orochi or BT600 as a backup either way, I was just thinking it would be nice if I didn't need to pop the batteries out to recharge them. Though now that I think about it I could just grab a second set of rechargables and just rotate them every month or so.

I got my Orochi around 2 and a half months ago and i've been using it almost daily with the Energizers that came with it. Batteries seem to be still going strong.

After looking at both more and more I pulled the trigger on an Orochi and a Kabuto. I can't wait for them to get here, my only working mouse right now has a wheel and buttons that are very noisy and annoying. Thanks for the input everybody. :)

    You won't regret it.

I had my fair share of doubts when purchasing my Orochi but it's been absolutely brilliant.

Excellent purchase, the Kabuto supposedly pairs quite well with the Orochi. :)

I love my Orochi, even though I don't use it much since I really love my CWs touchpad. Would have to say best one I have ever used on a laptop.
