    Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a well-padded, exact-fitting case for the Fujitsu S6231. The notebook's dimensions are 11.5 X 9.3 X 1.28". I would really like a sleeve, but I realize that a case would probably be best since I would need someplace to put the adapter and mouse. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

    Thank you.

www.spireusa.com has really nice boots you can consider. I don't think you want to put the ac adaptor next to the computer in one of those though. For travelling with accessories maybe a backpack or something of the like would be best.

Hi, I've done alot of surfing in last month looking for differnt carry bags for my new Acer 4501 (11.5 x 10.7 x 1.3) which is close to the dimensions of your system. Let me suggest some links I've found that my help you.

    1) http://www.spireusa.com/
-these guys make a high quaility bag and a price point to match - $200 US. I had a small size backpack for my old Acer 508T and the bag was so nice I just liked wearing it around. My bag has lasted me well over 4 years and still is in great shape, but if I were to purchase another bag from them I would have bought the middle sized bag for more room for my school books.

    2) http://www.ebags.com/
    - big selection and you can use the 'laptop bag finder' to narrow your search

    3) http://alexatech.com/
    - I like their design and the fact that they don't look like your everyday carry case, they are very stealth. I purchased the Techporter 15 and it fits my laptop very well and does provide full around protection as they claim. The only problem is that the top part sticks out about 1 inch but when the bag is closed it is well protected. The cost is very reasonable, mine was $45 CAN with tax.

    Hope this helps, good luck

I read in another thread that there was some concern that the Shinza 12" did not fit very well around the s6231. Has anyone found a sleeve of comparable material and quality that is a good fit?

Here's the thread you are referencing.

Did you look into the Crumpler?

Yes, I have... the School Hymn 12 seems just a little small.

    s6231 dimensions: 11.5" x 9.3" x 1.28"
    School Hymn dims: 11.02"x 8.7" x 1.20"

The difference isn't much, but the School Hymn is slightly smaller. Does the School Hymn stretch to accomodate?

Seems like a good deal. You just have to pick one that meets your style and carrying needs...sorry, but it's totally personal.

sorry to resurrect this old thread, but am in the same boat.

looking for a smaller case that i can dump some stuff into (AC adapter, a couple of CD's, etc) while still maintaining small form factor and low overall weight.

    Anyone have any hints?
