Looks good, getting some mixed flags though. In your review you state that the X2 is not designed to be portable (portable meaning storage wise?). You also said to another member to avoid the X2 for his G51VX and judging from this review with a G50VT-X5 the numbers aren't too impressive. I could probably get better results undervolting if I can get it right and stick with that.

Thanks for the help, would like to see some more earphone options.

IEMs - might help if you state what kind of music you like - do you want bassy ones, or not etc. etc.

Well they're going to be used for gaming and mostly all types of music (rock, trance, alternative, and pop off the top of my head)

Well, no bloated bass then though :D - I think the CX200 or CX300 from Sennheiser are said to have bloated bass... so they are a no go.

    Never tried them...

I had some Sony EX85... but they lack depth... no real soundstage... (compared to IE8 - which are too pricy for you)

Microsoft Zune Premium V2s? Found them for under $30 from some guy selling on head-fi.org forums.

If you are going to buy from head-fi FS forums, then you can wait for better stuff =). Some patience and you can get wonderful things.

Sony Ex55 is pretty reasonable, it came with my phone and I used it for some time. It's not perfect, but it has a good kick from below and sounds pretty decent for the money.
