I want to use my laptop hooked up to my TV and I don't want all these long cords getting in the way. I need something with decent range, like 15 feet, and that has good battery life and doesn't feel cheap. Using AA or AAA would be great as I have plenty of rechargeables. I have been looking at some stuff but I really have no clue. I don't really seem to like the small sized portable wireless mice. I will be keeping these at home anyway. Any ideas?

I have that on my HTPC, I'm not 100% sure but I think I still have the original Duracell batteries in it and that set is now 11 months old. Keyboard has integrated mouse, I don't really need regular mouse when surfing.

Mouse has rechargeable batteries and a dock where it can charge overnight.

Hi Trottel, I would also recommend you what Cin has suggested. That’s the perfect pick for you. It’s awesome and great to use!
