MY laptop works fine on just about any surface I put it on but when on a soft surface like a chair or bed it gets pretty hot on the bottom. I beleive this is because there is no space between the fan and vents and the surface it is placed on since its barely warm when I put it on omy desk.
I was wondering if getting a cooling pad would solve the heat problems.
If so, are there any that you recomend?
Thanks in advance to all that can help me.

wouldnt it be fine if you just put it on a hard surface like a hardback book or bit of ply board or something before putting it on the bed/chair?
but if you fancy spending money on a cooling pad then i expect somebody else can be far more helpful -

I would recommend the targus usb cooling pad found at circuit city for only $40. It is extremely portable and works really well.

Are there any others that are cheaper that perform as good as the Targus?
