So I am slowly upgrading my Desktop and I am also planning to buy my very 1st laptop next month.
I am in need of a new mouse for gaming.
Must have at least 3 buttons + the Scroll Wheel.
I am not sure exactly what to get.
I was debating getting the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth®
Thinking of the Bluetooth as I am planning to have Bluetooth in my laptop anyways so may as well use the technology.
So any1 ever use this specific mouse?
or any other suggestions?
I personally have never used a wireless mouse before and this is my 1st time thinking of getting 1![]()
I was also looking at the Logitech® G7 Laser Cordless Mouse
Please help

this one is relativley cheap and good -
For gaming I would recommend these: Logitech G5 or G7 both are top notch.

if you want a serious gaming mouse look at the razer copperhead

the G5 is a pretty good mouse too -
I have the G5, it's an awesome wired mouse, but may lack a few buttons

i love my MX518.. it is very good, with the sensitivity settings on the mouse above the scroll wheel, and its under $40.
pb,out. -

I think I got it don to Either the Copperhead, G5 or G7.
Heres a quick comparison of the 3: Copperhead/G5/G7 Comparison via NewEgg
I am gonna go to the Best Buy near me so I can check all 3 out at the same time to make my final decision.
At this time I am leaning toards the G7 as I want to try out wireless for a change.
I just hope the G5/G7 has side to side scroll wheel ability and that you can configure it.
Would make the loss of the forward button not too bad for it. -
I'd go with the G7. Now I haven't even tried one but the idea of wireless vs wired is an easy one for me. I have the Log. mx1000 on my desktop. It was the first wireless that I had tried at the time. I couldn't believe how accurate it was. I use it for gaming (UT2004, Unreal) and can't notice a difference between it and wired. I'm sure you would feel the same way with the G7. Nothing but good reviews about it are all I've seen.

Well I couldn't wait so I bought the G7 just 5 minutes ago from Newegg.
I made sure to get the Black version also
Couldn't help myself as I was buying the Logitech Z5500 Speaker System also at the same time.
Will amke sure to post a review on both the G7 and the Z5500 when I get it.
Should be around next Tuesday-Wednesday the latest.
Looking for a good gaming mouse
