I do a lot of laptop working from my bed so I am looking to get something easily accessible from the bed.
I have my eye on this but am wondering if anyone else has something similar...

anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?

    THANKS!

That style table is about the best I've seen for sitting up in bed and working. It costs $80 more at Levenger.com. I don't know if the quality of the two pieces is identical. I've used the Levenger one and it's quite nice--good quality wood/fittings, etc. It can tilt either way, so you can use it from either side of the bed.

Other ideas include a big lap desk or one of those old-fashioned breakfast-in-bed trays that stands up above your legs while you lean back.

Those Levenger links are all really pricey--I'm sure you can get cheaper versions of the same idea elsewhere. They were just handy for the pictures :)

    Good luck with your search!

    Oh my God!!

Just use it in your lap. Why waste money on stuff like that?

    LOL

if i wanted to "just use it in my lap" I would. It's not all that comfortable for me to do so because I like to have freedom to move my legs around and not worry about the laptop tilting because of it. Didn't know that was so hard to understand. Also, it's not really a waste if it makes me happy and comfortable now is it?

HappyCamper, thanks for the informative post!
