This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'm looking for a QAM-enabled TV tuner for laptops. Guessing that my next machine will be a Dell, ~2.4GHz proc., so full HD will be no problem. Using Vista MC exclusively (I know, no QAM support, YET). I'm looking at:

    DViCO Fusion 7 stick
    AVerTV Hybrid NanoExpress (thru Dell)
    OnAir GT
    Pinnacle HDTV Ultimate stick

    If budget is "sky's the limit," what's the best choice? If budget is $100, what works better then? I'm very curious as to how well the AVerTV card works, for anyone that has one.
