Well after 5 or so years of use and abuse my desktop keyboard is starting to give up the ghost, keys stick etc. tried cleaning it willing life into the thing but to no avail :(

So now I'm looking for a new desktop keyboard, I'm looking for one that is similar to a laptop keyboard as I much prefer the 'snappy' feel to a laptop keyboard, wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

    Hey there!
Are you looking for a certain brand? (Logitech, Microsoft, etc)? Are you looking for wireless? What is your budget? Do you want it to come with, of w/out a mouse? Are you a gamer? Or is it for normal use, such a multi-tasking, etc.... ;)

Here is a page from amazon.com with all brands of keyboards:

    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_g...ywords=computer+keyboard&sprefix=computer+key

Peruse thru that. Logitech makes some really good keyboards, as does Microsoft, etc.

Logitech have been making some nice notebook style keyboards. Have a look at one of these.

There are other cheaper options from logitech too. There are several microsoft ones that aren't quite '' notebook style'' but they still have a lower profile keys than standard keyboards. I own a Comfort Curve 2000 myself and its very nice.

Hi there, I don't have a prefered brand myself. I am a gamer but not really looking for a fancy keyboard, I'd never use the macro keys on them anyway, unbecoming of the war arranger of a clan to be doing something not allowed by league etc. Budget £20 - £25, £30 if I see something I really like, but thats if I REALLY like it, I have my ownmice that don't need replacing for good while yet, Habu and Blue Track Explorer thingy (I'm not swayed towards m$ just really like there mice).

    Thanks,
    mc6415

EDIT: Forgot wired or wireless, not really overly bothered on that front either.

    and regular keyboards:

My mom has a Logitech Cordless Desktop S520. It's a wireless mouse and keyboard combo. It uses a laptop style Keyboard.
