Hey guys, I was wondering if you could give me some suggestion on a new LCD monitor. I’m in the market for around a 20-22 inch LCD screen with some really nice picture quality (something that won’t hurt the eyes). The main thing I’m looking for is the ability to adjust the height of the monitor. Most screens are stationed, but they could tilt, I want one that could actually go up and down. But I’m also open to any suggestions you guys make.

I am very satisfied with my HP w2207, after returning a Samsung 226BW.

Picture quality and contrast are excellent, the inbuilt speakers are terrible. It's glossy (some people don't like this, I do).

For 22", I suggest the Dell Ultrasharp 22" Monitor. My financee has one, it is a little bright to start at default settings but some adjustments on the color and brightness settings make it much much better. The HP is great too, so it kind of comes down to the glossy/matte argument and which one you want.

For a 20" monitor I suggest you look somewhere other than Dell. Their Ultrasharp 20" 2009W, at least the one I had for about 24 hours, had a horrible grainy screen.

    cool suggestions, keep them coming.

Btw, the Dell Ultrasharp 22" Monitor, can that adjust height wise? I know all lcd could tilt, I also want height so it better suits my neck.

Yes, you can adjust the height on the 22" Ultrasharp Monitor. They have a lower quality monitor (E228 or something) that does not have this ability.

Cool, but **** I just found out the dell ultrasharp 22" is only 5 ms response time.

Is there any other monitors out that that's similar, i doesn't need to be widescreen, it could also be 20 to 22 inch big. The main thing is the height adjustability. I don't really care about webcam or usb ports...etc.
