I have a 17" P-6860 laptop and I'm looking for a carrying bag. I wouldn't need to carry the laptop long distances, just basically need something to transfer it from my dorm room to the car. I'd rather get something made for the laptop (Not something that has a bunch of extra space for books etc). I like a professional look.

    Thanks!

P.S. If possible please keep it under $100

They make some really nice backpacks that protect the machine pretty well. I know that Swiss makes some nice ones. But you said your looking for something more professional. So. Go to Staples or Best Buy? They'll more or less be able to fill your desires, I feel.

I really like the Booq Powersleeve XL that someone recently sold on this website. Unfortunately it is no longer being made. Anyone know of a alternative. (I really like how compact the bag is)

The Kensington Contour is an option. Also check out the Samsonite XL45.

I went with the Targus NPT400. It's on sale for $25 on the Targus site.
