    Hello,

I am looking for a good 2.5 inch external enclosure.

    I have 1 2.5inch ATA-6 harddrive, and will have 1 2.5inch SATA harddrive.

Ideally, getting an enclosure which supports both type would be nice, but if you have suggestions for each type it's fine.

SATA harddrive is 250gb so I need an enclosure which can support that much capacity.

The output should be at least usb 2.0, and if it has eSATA, that would be nice too, but not required. But since it is a portable device, it should only require power from one usb port for both power and data, at least for usb 2.0 connection.

Do you have any suggestions for me? Obviously, cheaper, the better ;) But I wouldn't spend too less for far less quality.

    Thank you in advance!

Here you are: Brilliant sMini. It may have other names as well.

I've got a couple. It does: USB to SATA and PATA; eSATA to SATA (ie not PATA to eSATA). It's fatter than most because there's a board inside with the SATA connector at one end and the PATA connector at the other. But it does the job and comes with all the necessary cables.
