I bought a plastic cooling fan for my laptop a while back, and it does work, but I would like something i can easily slide into my bag along with my laptop.
Looking around, almost everything is plastic or something that just doesn't really meet what I want.
I've even thought about just making one, but I don't really have a place or the tools to work with metal.

What I want is something that's sort of mesh-like, not really wire-mesh stuff, something solid with lots of breathing holes for air to flow through.
My laptop is a clevo p150em model, so the perfect Dimensions would be 10" x 14.8" for the exact size of my laptop. Just something close to that size.
The thinner the better, so any padding for me to set it on my legs needs to be thin as well.
Doesn't need anything in it that uses power, just metal to help cool the air, and dissipate heat.

I guess it would be nice if it could go up under the middle of the laptop and touch it directly to help or something, idk.
If I could make my own, it would have two layers of metal, with little pull out slots that came out, flipped around from the inside and increased the height a little bit, basically hiding the padding inside it and making it thinner when putting it up.
This is more of an ideal pad I guess, something I'd like to make.
I just would like something that would just work for me though.

There isn't one you can gently slide into your bag from what I know of, the Notepal U3, or U2 for 15" machines, is the go-to model. I've got the Notepal Air and it's wonderful since the thing can be used on ones lap. :D

It's made of plastic but it keeps my sig laptop nice and chilly no matter where things get heated. ^-^

I have the U3 and it's metal, not plastic. There are 3 fans that all attach to the bottom of it. Has rubber(ish) padding around the 4 corners. Not sure about using it on my lap though.
