I love my new laptop but I can not stand the fact that I am unable to go outside and work. Anyone know of a great cover screen that I can use?

That's great just what I was looking for and only twenty dollars too! Did you ever get those bubbles out? I saw that it is not adhesive, but if you take it on and off a lot does it wear out?

    Thanks again!

I got it, had it on practically fully bubble-free for about two days before I said "&%$£ it, I'll squint". It decreases screen quality noticeably.

It's my one major bugbear with this machine - along with the Apples it is borderline unusable outside, or indoor spaces with backlighting. I'd like to see a clearer film from someone which nevertheless scatters a decent amount of light.

What would be better than a matte film is to buy some of the optics coatings they put on telescope lenses and other optics, it lets light pass through it but only reflects a little bit. My best idea though is for some thrird party business to just make replacement screen covers that don't have the plastic.

The plastic sheet is only held on by little plastic clips so it would be easy to replace. Then you could have a bear screen like normal laptops... I thinkthat if you put a matte coating directly on the screen it would work properly too, if you get a plastic paper slip (y'know the thin plastic film ones) and put it on a letter, you can see right through it but if you lift it up just a little bit then it becomes a lor harder to see. Basicly I think that is what is happening to you

might also want to try the photodon Antiglare, all matte screen protectors will harm screen quality just a bit though
