    Hi, guys!

I own Sony Vaio VPCF13Z1E/B and... well, it gets hot. A LOT.
It packs i7 740, Nv 425GT and 8GB RAM, yet the performance is low because of the fact it goes up to even 90C, which is.. unbearable for me. Ok, it's my first multimedia laptop, but still, I'm crying a little bit inside, I expected more from such machine. Anyways! I'm looking for an AWESOME cooler, kind of a freezer really. What I do care about is fan speed and its size, I'm not concerned about the fan noise, cause my laptop is already doing that job, it sounds like nuclear reactor (not sure if such reactor is making a lot of noise, but you get the point).

I was thinking about Cooler Master Notepal ErgoStand and it's wow, but.. I'm concerned a little about its actual performance. I saw on youtube it can decrease the laptop temperature from 56C to 52C, which is not enough for me. Well, there is also an option that I'm demanding too much and it's simply impossible to achieve more from external cooler, but this is why I'm here... Is there any chance I can drop the temp more than a few degrees? Laptop is clean, no dust whatsoever, I even removed keyboard to access the fan inside. And is it worth to give up the additional utility ErgoStand gives and choose for example, NZXT Cryo LX? How much can I really achieve? I'm relatively new in the notebook world, that's why I'm here, because I'd rather ask the professionals than choose something by myself and then regret.

    Thanks in advance!
    Jim

have u tried cleaning out your vents with some compressed air. over time dust can build up raising temps. also could be a sign of a bad paste job too. also on most notebooks simply lifting up the back end so it can get more air will greatly reduce temps.
