The DiNovo is more of a multimedia HTPC keyboard, as it has a touchpad. It is quite expensive, and for the price you can get a nice microsoft keyboard+mice combo, or, you can find a cheap deathadder mouse (even if you don't game theyre incredible) and a diff. keyboard

Are you talking about the DiNovo Edge?

I dont think the one I mention above has a touchpad.

IMHO those types of docks are just a complete waste of money. They hook up via USB and only have things that can be run through a USB port. They are nothing like the latitude docks which you can add a PCI card to, or hook up external monitors via DVI and such. Your better off to just build your own stand or just set it on a desk and use a external keyboard anyways.

Whats a decent dock that supports DVI and Ethernet at the moment? Am I better off getting a DELL branded one? I'm not sure which are compatible with the XPS 16.

There is no real dock compatible with the Studio XPS 16. At best you'll find stands with USB port emulators.
