Hey, i'm looking for a gaming mouse to go with my gaming laptop. I'd like it to be wireless. I'd probably pay 40$ for it.

The only wireless gaming mouse that I know works well (used to own one) is the Logitech G700, it's $30 out of your price range, but that's what you have to pay for wireless. Otherwise, you could get a G500 on Newegg (wired) for just under $40.

That's a bit of a short budget for a wireless gaming mouse. The G700 is good and it's the least expensive wireless gaming mouse I know of, but it's a little out of your budget. If it has to be within $40, you can find a wired Razer DeathAdder for that price; it's a top-notch mouse.

It all comes down to personal preference. I love my razer mouse but thats just me. Its best to go to an electronics store like Frys and test the feel in your hand from the display mice they have there. Then go online and find the best price.
The other thing to note is that wireless really is not that useful in a mouse. If you just coil the cable, it will take up about the same table space weither its wireless or not. You still have to use a USB port for the wireless adapter. I've always had response problems with wireless mice so just stick with my deathadder. -
gaming mice
Razer
Cyborg R.A.T (a mouse more overpriced than Alienware and Apple combined)
Steel Series
some Logitech
some Microsoft
like the OPs all have said its hard to find something for that price. Now if you could double it... -
logitech G500 or G400 depending on whether you want laser or optical, my vote goes for the G400 optical.

I use the Razer Orochi, lazer and bt, no problems with it in games like sc2, css, l4d2

If you are patient and willing to skip lunch for 2 days, go to Amazon and you can get the G700 for 49.99 currently. It's OOS so it'll ship after Dec. 25th, but 50% off is pretty good. I picked up one as a spare for my G9x and to get wireless (and more buttons which I now use).
-
also take note the g700 wireless function only lasts for about 8 hours (since it only has one AAA battery, then you have to attach the cable to charge the mouse.
-
As others have said the best wireless option is the G700, but it is not in your budget. However the G400 and G500 are both good mice, albeit wired.
Also the G700 has a AA battery, not a AAA battery. -
Roccat Pyra MIGHT be in your budget, if you're in Europe.
