I'll start off with the fact that I am not really an audiophile (I work around jet engines so my hearing is crap, I'm usually just happy to hear music at all). I'm looking for a replacement headset for the one my wife's dog chewed up this morning... ( http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-Tactic3D-Alpha-Gaming/M/B0041OQKIC.htm). I loved the Alpha headset because it was the most comfortable amongst about half a dozen headsets I've bought and returned or given away. However, I think the best way to help prevent another abused headset, it would be to go with a wireless solution that would be easier to put away whenever using it. I already have a Logitech unifying wireless receiver that sits in my notebook at all times, so I'm open to Logitech (even though those units seem a bit steep for what I'm looking for) or something that would pair with the bluetooth on my notebook. I liked the fact that the microphone could be detached so having a new headset with that would be a plus. I would also like to keep it sub-$100, however it seems pretty demanding and impossible to keep it within budget. Thanks in advance!
