Was thinking of getting either a Razer nostromo or naga.

My main use would be for GW2 or the like but wanted some feedback on these two razers or similar ones (Going to use gift cards from dell).

    Naga Questions:

    1. How well do you like using the 12 keys on the side?

    2. How well can you use the two center buttons below the scroll?

    3. When using the naga how does your hand/wrist feel after a long period of use (3hrs+)?

    4. How well does this work with fps games?

    Nostromo Questions:

    1. I've read that people that have the nostromo couldn't move diagonally using the d-pad, could you use the buttons to make a wasd movement and use the d-pad to use skills by any chance? If so, how well did this turn out for you?

    2. How well does the scroll work on the nostromo when browsing?

    3. When using the nostromo how does your hand/wrist feel after a long period of use (3hrs+)?

    4. How well does this work with fps games?

    Nostromo:

You can remap the D-pad to whatever you like. However, you cannot remap WASD to the D-pad and have the diagonals act as diagonals you either have to use the defaults if you want the D-pad for movement.

The nostromo still felt comfortable after half a day of GW2 beta for me, but if your hand size doesn'T fit one of the two settings for the wrist rest, you'll likely be in for some not so good comfort.

    Naga Questions:

    1. How well do you like using the 12 keys on the side?
The hex works better in most situations. 12 keys is a bit overkill and has a steeper learning curve.

    2. How well can you use the two center buttons below the scroll?
I never use them, I feel like they're just awkwardly placed.

    3. When using the naga how does your hand/wrist feel after a long period of use (3hrs+)?
Nothing horrible; I have medium hands and big-handed people may get more fatigue or whatnot.

    4. How well does this work with fps games?
It works, but I prefer my Deathadder for FPS'. Naga feels a bit fat/heavy.

    Nostromo Questions:

    1. I've read that people that have the nostromo couldn't move diagonally using the d-pad, could you use the buttons to make a wasd movement and use the d-pad to use skills by any chance? If so, how well did this turn out for you?
See Tijo's post about mapping and whatnot.

    2. How well does the scroll work on the nostromo when browsing?
I've never used my Nos' while browsing.

    3. When using the nostromo how does your hand/wrist feel after a long period of use (3hrs+)?
It feels meh. I find myself using a regular keyboard after a couple of hours.

    4. How well does this work with fps games?
Quite well. Mapping weapons etc makes everything easier, but again nothing that can't be accomplished with a regular keyboard.

IMO the Nostromo is a waste, but to each their own.
