I like the still of the Dell Studios for typing and was wondering if there was a product out there - possibly a laptop cooler - that provided a nice tilt so the keyboard is raised up and forward to me.
Anyone know of any such thing?

Honestly, on my old, rather flat laptop, I just propped up the back edge with a couple of thick rubber erasers. They didn't slip, and gave the thing a nice tilt for typing.

I used old cassette tape cases

Soviet Sunrise Notebook Prophet
I bought David Blaine's "how to levitate" DVD boxset and taught the back of my notebook how to float a few centimeters above my desk.

I use a pack of notecards

this will do the trick

I may dislike Apples ultimately, but I am something of a closet target market - I have several pairs and I would definitely use these over a home-made substitute.
The only other alternative I use for laptops which spend a lot of time on desks where the suction for the above doesn't work and I don't want to stick the adhesion-assistance discs on are two Foculpods at the back. These are audiophile-use shock damping feet. Having moved on to far more insanely overpriced (and shiny, gotta have shiny) methods of isolating my hi-fi gear from vibration, I have a load of them spare. -
Lego Big Blocks FTW!
but on a more serious note...

I do something similar but angle it the other way, so that the screen angles upwards and the keyboard angles down. From MS natural keyboard, I guess I'm used to that style as I find it feels a lot better on the wrist.

Check out this site www.laptopdesk.net/ I bought the gamers desk and i love it. I can watch House and play WoW at the same time. The vents allow air to flow freely if ur using it on ur lap. It also folds in half for an angled typing position. Happy Hunting

I had one of those fold away lapdesks and it basically broke in half. they are made very cheaply. not worth the money imho.
this seems pretty nice and works with all pcs besides mac.
