    Hi

I am looking for a stylish 17" notebook messenger bag or backpack. The Logiteck kinetic backpack is perfect (except for all the orange but I can live with it) but my laptop doesn't fit. The belkin 17" messenger bag is also great but doesn't offer much protection. Are there any similar backpacks or bags for a 17" that offer very good protection?

    Thanks!

Spire makes very nice notebook backpacks. I like mine. Very well made. Expensive though.

those booq bags seem great but they don't seem to sell them here in south africa, and i'd prefer to see it in person before buying to have a look at the padding and all. pity...

not so fond of the spire bags.

any others that you know of?

Consider the Kensington Contour messenger bag.
