    Hi,

Currently I am using Microsoft Mouse 4000, and I love the mouse, the size and everything about it. It is not too big like the desktop mouses, and it is not too small like the portable mouses.

I am looking for something similar to Microsoft Mouse 4000, but corded. Because It takes up too much battery and I always have to replace battery in it.

    Requirement:

Similar size to Microsoft Mouse 4000
A back button on the side

Is there any mouse like this?

    Thank you.

I suggest you give one of the newer Logitech wireless mice a try.

I'm currently using a Logitech M187 and have just needed to replace its AAA battery after quite a few months of hard use so I think they've considerably improved the power efficiency compared with a few years ago.

I've got several serviceable Microsoft mice on my shelf and they must be there, and not in use, for a reason. Eating batteries is probably one factor, but another is that I find that the mice with rubbery sides get sticky so I prefer plain hard plastic.
