I have a really old HP color printer that only works with XP.
At home I have a networked printer from hp that works really good. I'm at college though and need a better printer, but can't take the one from home.

I'm looking for something that will mainly print documents, but have a photo option as well. I also need to be able to scan and copy. It needs to work with Windows 7, XP, and OSX. It needs to be at least wired network compatible. I would like duplexing as well, preferably automatic.

I've looked at printers and not sure what to get.

I thinking below $150, but I'm not sure of a budget.
    Give be some ideas. Thanks!

You could try looking at NBR's sister site, PrinterComparison (or, alternatively, reachable from the links at the top of your screen). They usually run a "Deal of the week" thing where they find what they feel is the best deal on a printer for that week. They also do reviews, so maybe that can help you get an idea of what you're looking for or at.

The Canon Pixmas are great for print quality, you might want to look into refilling them.
-> For the Pixma ip4700 (what we have) there is a German "Durchstich" method to refill original OEM cartridges, I did that recently, no issues at all :)

At 150$ you can possibly get one of the highest models they make for home use - although you might not need it. On that note - the 5 ink tank models use dye & pigment black ink. 4 ink tanks -> just dye.
