    Lost Wireless Reciever!! need help

    hey, i jus bought the Logitech VX nano mouse..
    bt its wireless reciever was left at airport after checking!!!
    i am looking for a spare bt couldn't find one!!
    i jus wanted to ask that weather the reciever of some other mouse like logitech G7 work with my mouse.. i have the software disc....
    coz both use same 2.4GHz wireless technology recievers!!!
    plz suggest a solution!!

    i don't know if that will work, but have you tried contacting logitech to order a new reciever?

    Actually, it might work.

    I have a VX Nano and a VX Revolution. After stating on another forum that the receivers aren't compatible, someone stated they could be used. He said to use the Logitech Connect Utility and follow the instructions. When I did it, it worked. I could connect either mouse with the Nano receiver or the Revolution receiver. I haven't tried any of the other Logitech mice in the house.

    I know I had seen a lot of comments here that this didn't work, though I have never seen a comment about the connect utility. Alternative, it could have been a driver update that did it.

    This is rather interesting, I was reading the Logitech forums and one of their representatives said it wasn't possible.
    Interesting to know though. The Connect Utility is what you use for switching between receivers. Also, it might depend on your luck as there are two options each for the Nano receiver and the Revolution receiver. Perhaps they may only work with one of the two options. However, the V450 Nano, V550 Nano and VX Nano appear to be interchangeable, for at least 1 model of the receiver anyway.
