Shopping at Fry's and saw a MS display for mice. The one that intrigued me was the Touch Mouse for Win 7. It has no wheels and no right/left buttons, it is touch sensitive. It knows when you press on the right side or left side and drag one finger where the wheel should be and it does wheel actions, two and three finger drags do different things as well as a thumb drag down for back and up for forward in your browser..
So they had a returned one for a 35% discount and it is now mine. This is going to take some getting used to but I like it so far.

i bought one too and getting used to it. its not suitable for gaming as you can't press left and right clicks at the same time. otherwise its great with managing windows with the three-finger swipe. download "touch mouse mate" program to add middle click and touch-over-click functions.

the mouse is heavier and doesn't glide very well but teflon mousetape solved that.
