My trusty Logitech MX Revolution is going on 5 years old, and the mouse wheel is beginning to act funny. I love the MX Revolution, but I can't find a suitable replacement. Amazon seems to have the MX Revolution, but it's absurdly expensive.
So, here's a few things I love and don't love about the MX Revolution that I'd like to have in its replacement:
Pros
1. Fits my right hand like a glove. There's no adjusting my wrist or anything. It's just the perfect size and curve. It's very comfortable to use.
2. Numerous buttons in many locations which are programmable. Even both mouse wheels are programmable! I have the left-side mouse wheel set to volume control (increase volume, decrease volume, and click to mute). I would love this feature on its replacement. The programmable buttons are great for games.
3. Back and forward buttons on left side (not near left-click button).
4. Wireless
5. Weight. The weight is perfect for me. It's not too heavy, and not too light either.
Cons
1. Wireless. Sometimes the signal gets jammed and there is no input for ~1 second. Can be frustrating during games (particularly shooters).
2. No spiffy lights. Sometimes I'd like some spiffy lights. Not necessary, though.
3. Top mouse wheel seems to have a mind of its own when using Adobe applications. It seems to go from a locked scroll to free scroll at will. Probably just Adobe's fault, but still.
Here are some reference pictures of the MX revolution:

Any input appreciated. Wired or wireless does not matter.

Logitech G700?
-
I would say the Logitech Performance MX is the closest thing you would get to the Revolution MX, but its still wont be the same.
The great thing about the Performance MX is the small wireless reciever and that there is a physical button that controls how the scroll wheel behaves. -
The G700 looks interesting. I'll need to find one locally on display to see if it's similar.
I've tried the Performance MX on display before, and I hated it.
