I bought the MX revolution about 4 months ago and it has been great until now. It fell off my desk and landed upside down, right on the scroll wheel. Now when I switch the wheel to smooth scroll it doesn't fly as freely when you flick it forward or back. It's almost like a wheel that needs new bearings now, and I'd like to find a way to fix it. $100 wasted on a mouse that breaks this easily is killing me, and I can't find the warranty paperwork or receipt.

There's a problem with the rubber band they use around the scroll wheel. When it gets loose it starts to rub against the bottom of the wheel well. The quick fix is to just cut the rubber band out, the long fix is to cut a little bit out and superglue it back to the wheel.

If you don't want to be so hands on... keep looking for those papers.

Also you might want to poke around on the logitech forums some.. I think the issue came up once or twice.

    Good luck!
