I'm in need of a new mouse. I Love my current Logitech MediaPlay mouse, but I have a hunch it's going to die after 3 years of very hard abuse (it's had violent encounters with the wall many a time). The best things about it are that I can control my music no matter what app I'm using.

I need a nice mouse with oodles of buttons (or functions). I will only buy a Logitech mouse, the only other mouse that tempts me at all is the Microsoft Arc, but it lacks my buttons so it's out. My contenders are the Logitech MX Revolution & MX Air. Both are Laser mice and both are 2.4 GHz.

I'm not a huge fanatic about sensativity or start-up from idle times, but I do like it to move fast and I always have the speed set to max.

    Thank For you opinions!

I would go for the MX Revolution since it meets your needs, is cheaper than the MX Air, and seems more ergonomic and comfortable to use. :)

if u want a tested and proven mouse then go with the mx revolution.

i personally would go with the mx air. i'm not a big mouse person. i'm totally satisfied with my current set up, but the mx air is the only mouse i would upgrade to. first of all, just look at it. the thing looks beautiful. u can set hand gestures to do different things and it remembers yur hand gestures. u can use it as a power point presenter. u can use it almost like a wii remote. those are just some of the features i can remember off the top of my head. to me, its mousing on another level.

Think those are mouses for entirely different usage.

    MX Revolution. Hands down.

Unless this is a HTPC... in which case the Air might be a good idea.

it can be used as a wireless mouse, just like any other.
