I'm in the market for a bluetooth mouse for my new T60. I have the old mx700 for my desktop and would love to get the bluetooth mx900 for my laptop no matter how old it is unless...anyone can think of something like the mx900 that is better. Basically the thumb buttons to go back and forwards are a necessity.

also I was wondering if anyone new the answer to this one. I have the mx700 receiver that is not bluetooth and was wondering if the base station with the mx900 that is blue tooth will pick up the mx700 mouse and keyboard. If not what about the other way around will the base station for the mx700 non bluetooth be able to pick up the mx900. I know that it's probably not possible but I was curious if anyone has tried this before and the only thing that gives me a glimmer of hope is that the to base stations are able to charge both mice.

There's a bluetooth version of the MX1000, which is simply the best mouse known to man. 10 buttons, all customizable, nice size if you like a larger mouse.

Tow points. I do not think you can by the mouse alone and I have heard many complaints about the blue tooth in the combo. Maybe just the keyboard but people complain of loosing connects and lag.

I can't find a link, but I know I've heard that a BT version of the MX1000 exists. I couldn't even find the MX1000 on Logitech's own website (Mice and Trackballs > View All). So I dunno.

It only comes with the keyboard combo. The vx5000 blue tooth series I think. That is why I commented and the keyboard is buggy. Not to sure about the mouse though.

I also liked the MX1000, I had one that worked awesome until it got shocked(Something was messed up with my house had really bad static... fried a few other mice and an entire laptop) I think the only way to get it is the MX5000 combo with the keyboard. I'm not sure about the bluetooth issues of the keyboard(Mine wasn't bluetooth but just wireless) but I liked it alot.

I have the MX5000 combo, but I've almost never used it (charger cable died on my MX3100 set, Logitech sent me the 5000 as a replacement... I've only touched the cable lol). I've had a couple frineds buy and return the 5000 because it was laggy. I tried it long enough to find out that the BT dongle didn't work with my BIOS or my bootloader, so I promptly packed it away while my good mouse charged up.
