Am I right or that doesn't exist? If so, I'd like to find a good french canadian keyboard.

For gaming, but typing speed is essential here.

    Thanks!

That'd be tough to find, I am not even sure if it exists. :-/ You can probably order a set of custom keycaps for the keyboard but that won't be cheap. I'd check with the geekhack forums just to be sure, if anyone knows it'd be them. ^_^
    (currently on a Cherry G80-11900LPMUS-0)

EDIT: After a quick check, it seems Cherry keyboards ending with "CD", e.g. LPMCD, signifies a French canadian layout. But those seems very rare, and of course not all cherry boards have mechanical switches (should look for the G80 line).

Hahaha, well I already "touch-type", but it's almost only for special symbols... as a matter of fact, I have an english keyboard on my laptop so I could always get one.

Is there a place were I could test how a mechanical keyboard feel like? (Bestbuy, Futureshop, etc.?)

Not really unfortunately, you might find the Razer Black Widow which has cherry MX blue switches at BB/FS, thats about it. Do you have any sort of typing feel in mind?

Use alt+numberpad for accents like a REAL user O_O

Either that or put your keyboard on "US international", then you can use accents without needing the numberpad :p Ex: 'a' + '\' = 'à'

You might consider getting a Deck Legend keyboard. They have removable keycaps, so you can easily move the keycaps around (or modify them) as you see fit.
