I have a 2gb Kingston SD camera memory card and a generic mp3 player that I also use as a usb drive.

I'm guessing that it must be a Vista or a format problem, but I can only see certain files when I access the card/drive on my laptop.

For instance, I have 2 kodak easyshare cameras, on 5Mp and the other 4Mp. I've taken pictures with the same SD card on both of the cameras but when I view the contents of the card, only the 24 pictures taken with the 4Mp camera are shown. I know there are a few hundred pictures on the card, but they just aren't shown.

Everything is shown on my desktop pc with XP, but I don't have the usb cord for the cameras on hand right now.

The same thing goes for the mp3 player. I've worked my way around it by storing my files in one of the directory folders it create by itself.

Any help would certainly be appreciated.

They aren't shown in Windows through your MP3 player?

Does your MP3 player get a drive letter in 'My Computer'?

Also have you tried enabling 'hidden files and folders'?

oh lol I'm pretty foolish. I got my SD cards mixed up :D.

I'll check again with my mp3 player, now that I've enabled the hidden icons. Thanks namaiki! :p +1 rep
