    Hi,

    My friend posted me his memory stick because he said that when he put it in, it said "This device is not formatted. Format it now?"

    It did this for me as well.

    The one thing I did notice is that when I plugged it in, it came up as a protection device, not a mass storage device.

    Any ideas? What can I do to get all his data off without formatting?
