    Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a bag that is pretty big. About 17 to 18 inches in width. I need to fit in one large textbook, and a few binders. I also have a 12" laptop (Asus f9s) that I occasionally bring to school that I would like to fit in as well.
I'm willing to pay $50-$100 for this.
There are so many choices out there that I don't know which one to pick up. Timbuk2, Swiss, etc. etc. Please drop some suggestions.

    thanks.

I just bought the Timbuk 2 Commute messenger bag.
I'll write a review on it if there isn't one that exists all ready.

The bag came in today. The Timbuk2 Commute. So far, I really love the build and quality of it, it seems really nice. I will write a review on it after I test it out and carry different loads on it in the next 2 weeks.

A few years ago I got my wife one of the design-it-yourself Timbuk 2 messenger bags. It holds a lot of stuff, and still looks good after three years of use.

Yeah, I've heard many good things about timbuk2.
I mean, indestructible ballistics nylon, lol.
